क्या चमत्कार आज भी होते है ?

कितने ही सालों से किताबों में तथा दादी नानी के सुनाए गए किस्सों में अनेक कहानियां कई किस्म के चमत्कारों से भरी होती थी। इन कहानियों में किसी व्यक्ति विशेष द्वारा कुछ बोले जाने से या कोई खास किस्म का अंदाज़ दिखाने से कुछ ऐसी असाधारण घटनाएं हुआ करती थी जिनका आमतौर पर किसी भी प्रकार का वास्तविक कारण या तरीका बताना हमारी उस समय की समझ से बाहर होता था। इसीलिए यह एक चमत्कार लगता था।

ज्यादातर कहानियां किसी ना किसी धार्मिक घटना और उससे जुड़े चरित्रों पर आधारित होती थी। इन कहानियों में बड़ी बड़ी शक्तियों द्वारा दिए गए वरदान या श्राप मुख्य भूमिका निभाते थे । एक समय के बाद बाहरी सभ्यताओं के आने से   कुछ और विशेष प्रकार की कहानियां भी जुड़ी जिन्हें तिलस्मी कहानियां कहां गया। जहां धर्म से जुड़ी चमत्कारी कहानियां किसी ना किसी सामाजिक व्यवस्था से जुड़ी होती वही तिलिस्मी कहानियां प्रायः काल्पनिक घटनाओं पर केवल मनोरंजन के लिए बनाई जाती थी। यह कहानियां अक्सर  भारत में बाहर से आई सभ्यताओं से जुड़ी होती थी । उस समय में यह कहानियां , चाहे कहीं से भी आई हो  , हमारे लिए केवल मनोरंजन का एक सरल और स्वस्थ तरीका था। सभी कहानियां  दिलचस्पी और थोड़ी हैरानी के भाव  से पढ़ी या सुनी जाती थी और बिना किसी टीका टिप्पणी के उन्हें दिमाग में उतार लिया जाता था।

 इन कहानियों के जरिए यह मालूम हुआ की प्राचीन भारत  में  अनेक ऋषि , मुनियों तथा योगियों ने अपनी तपस्या वह अनुशासित योग साधना के बल पर अनेक अलौकिक शक्तियां प्राप्त कर ली थी।  इन्हीं शक्तियों के आधार पर यह ऋषि मुनि  ऐसे असाधारण काम कर सकते थे जो जनसाधारण को शायद चमत्कार लगते थे। चमत्कार केवल ऋषि मुनियों तक ही सीमित नहीं थे। कोई भी व्यक्ति साधना तथा प्रयोग के द्वारा इन्हें हासिल कर सकता था।

ऐसी ही एक तिलस्मी कहानी जो हमारे देश में काफी मशहूर रही है और जिस पर फिल्में भी बनी वह है अलीबाबा और 40 चोर। इस कहानी में अलीबाबा और उसके 40 साथी जो चोर और डाकू है वह जगह जगह से कीमती चीजें लूट कर या चुराकर एक ऐसी गुफा में बंद करते हैं जिसका दरवाजा केवल सरदार ही अपनी आवाज में ‘खुल जा सिम सिम’ कहकर उसे खोल सकता है।

धार्मिक कहानियों में मायावी युद्ध का अक्सर वर्णन किया गया है। इस प्रकार के युद्ध में शत्रु के साथ आमने सामने की सेना के साथ लड़ाई के बजाय एक ऐसा युद्ध किया जाता था जिसमें पीछे अपने सुरक्षित वातावरण में रहकर भी बिना सामने आए शत्रु को अलग-अलग दिशाओं से इस प्रकार नुकसान पहुंचाया जाता था की शत्रु बौखला  जाए और उसकी युद्ध क्षमता कमजोर पड़ जाए। कृष्ण अवतार के समय में गोवर्धन पर्वत को अपनी उंगली पर उठाकर वहां के निवासियों को इंद्र के प्रकोप से बचाने के लिए उसका एक बड़ी छत के तौर पर इस्तेमाल करना एक जानी मानी कथा लगभग सभी भारतीय जानते हैं। अनेकों उदाहरण ना केवल  हमारी संस्कृति में बल्कि विश्व भर में मिलते हैं।

बचपन में सुने हुए इस प्रकार के सभी चमत्कारों को अपनी उम्र के साथ धीरे धीरे मैंने यह समझा कि यह सभी कुछ ऐसे मुश्किल तथा असाधारण काम थे जिन्हें आम आदमी ना तो कर सकता था और शायद ना ही अच्छी तरह समझ सकता था। कुछ बड़ी शक्तियों से समृद्ध व्यक्तियों ने यह कार्य पूरे किए जिन्हें समय गुजरने के साथ साथ आम आदमी को समझाने के लिए चमत्कार की परिभाषा दे दी गई। अपनी तर्क वादी समझ से मैंने धीरे धीरे यह मानना लगभग छोड़ ही दिया था की चमत्कार कभी होते थे या आज भी होते हैं। हर इस प्रकार की स्थिति के पीछे कुछ ना कुछ सिद्धांत होते हैं जिनसे हम उसकी तर्कसंगत व्याख्या कर सकते हैं।

आज विज्ञान तथा टेक्नोलॉजी के विस्तार के बाद हम विभिन्न प्रकार के इस्तेमाल होने वाले कोड शब्दों से किसी भी सिस्टम को खोल या बंद कर सकते हैं। आज विश्व में ऐसे लोगों की संख्या 40 से बढ़कर बहुत अधिक हो गई है जो इस प्रकार के पासवर्ड का इस्तेमाल कर अपनी गुप्त तिजोरी मे अनगिनत पैसा जो उन्होंने अपने देश से चुराया है रखते हैं। इसी तरह आतंकवाद और अर्थ वाद का इस्तेमाल कर घर बैठे शत्रु से युद्ध करना आज एक आम नीति है। डिजिटल टेक्नोलॉजी के व्यापक विस्तार से इस प्रकार के मायावी अपराध या युद्ध नीतियां और भी अधिक खतरनाक व प्रभावशाली हो गई है।

समय गुजरने के साथ, जीवन के अनुभवों तथा अपनी इंजीनियरिंग  सोच के साथ मैं चमत्कार जैसे शब्द बिल्कुल भूल चुका था। लेकिन हाल ही में हमारे देश में हुई ऐसी घटना ने मुझे अपने वर्षों में प्राप्त की गई  इस सोच पर दोबारा सोचने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया। आज की परिस्थितियों में इस घटना के संदर्भ में मेरे पास यह मानने के इलावा और कोई दूसरा रास्ता नहीं कि चमत्कार आज भी होते हैं ।

यह घटना हमारे देश के एक बड़े स्टॉक एक्सचेंज से जुड़ी हुई वह ताजा घटना है जिसमें इस संस्था के सबसे उच्च पदों पर बैठे कुछ व्यक्ति एक योगी जिसे हिमालय में कहीं स्थित बताया गया के बताए हुए आदेशों पर पालन करते हुए अरबों रुपए के व्यापार करने वाली इस संस्था को चलाते रहे। उनका यह तरीका कई सालों तक या फिर शायद कुछ दशकों तक सफलता से चलता रहा बावजूद इसके कि देश में उन्हें कानूनी तौर पर देखने समझने तथा रेगुलेट करने वाली अनेक संस्थाएं प्रमुखता से काम कर रही थी। शायद एक आम भारतीय की तरह इन सभी संस्थाओं में भी सभी लोग चमत्कारों में विश्वास रखते थे और रखते हैं। घटना के उजागर होने के बाद भी आज तक कोई भी जांच संस्था उस योगी का अभी तक पता नहीं लगा पाई जो अपनी अदृश्य शक्तियों द्वारा इस स्टॉक एक्सचेंज का संचालन सफलतापूर्वक कई वर्षों तक करता रहा। हो सकता है बहुत सी सूचनाएं गुप्त रखी गई हो। परंतु आज ,  कम से कम अभी , लगभग 140 करोड भारतीयों तथा इसके अलावा पूरे विश्व के जन समुदाय को यह मानना पड़ेगा की विज्ञान का विस्तार भले ही कहीं तक हो , चमत्कार होते हैं और शायद होते रहेंगे।

इस घटना ने मेरे अंदर एक ऐसा द्वंद कर दिया है जो मेरी तर्क संगत सोच के लिए शायद एक उलझन भरी चुनौती भी बन गया है। कभी-कभी मैं यह मेरे जैसे अनेक अन्य व्यक्ति इस सोच में भी पड़ जाते हैं कि क्या कोई बड़ा सिस्टम इस चमत्कारी योगी के नाम पर हम सबका ध्यान किसी और तरफ भटकाने की कोशिश तो नहीं कर रहा ? क्या कोई ऐसा  योगी सचमुच है भी या यह सिर्फ एक काल्पनिक चरित्र का निर्माण हुआ है ? चरित्र भले ही काल्पनिक हो या फिर वास्तविक, इसके आधार पर अनेक स्पाइडर मैन जैसी मनोरंजक वीडियोस और हॉलीवुड की फिल्मों का निर्माण संभव है।

ऐसा मानना लगभग असंभव है कि भारत जैसा देश जो इनफार्मेशन टेक्नोलॉजी में एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है वह इस योगी द्वारा भेजी गई ईमेल के आधार पर अभी तक उसकी स्थिति भी नहीं खोज पाया व्यक्ति तो अभी दूर ही है। इन सब हालात में कोई तर्कसंगत आधा अधूरा जवाब भी ना होने के कारण सभी के दिलों में अनेक शंका भरे विचार उठना लगभग तय है। यह सभी स्थितियां समाज के अंदर अनिश्चितता तथा विवशता की स्थितियां पैदा कर सकती है जो देश की व्यवस्था व उन्नति के लिए सही नहीं है।

यहां एक बात और बताना चाहूंगा की योगी का पता और उसके बारे में व्यक्तिगत जानकारी का मिलना कुछ विशेष मायने नहीं रखता क्योंकि उसे किसी भी प्रकार से कुछ गलत करने का दोषी पाया जाना या दोषी साबित करना शायद नामुमकिन ही होगा। ऐसी परिस्थितियां अक्सर कॉरपोरेट सिस्टम में भी पाई जाती हैं जहां सबसे उच्च पदों पर बैठे हुए एग्जीक्यूटिव अपने जूनियर को सिर्फ एक आम भाषा में एक एडवाइजरी के रूप में किसी को कुछ लाभ पहुंचाने का संकेत देते हैं जिसे वह जूनियर अपने रिस्क पर करता है। कुछ भी गलत परिणाम होने पर वह जूनियर ही सजा का भागीदार बनता है क्योंकि एग्जीक्यूटिव ने तो केवल एक सुझाव मात्र ही दिया था वह भी मुंह जबानी कोई लिखित आदेश नहीं।

इसलिए एक बार फिर यही कहना उचित रहेगा की शक्तियों के द्वारा चमत्कार आज भी होते हैं।

For many years, many stories in books and stories narrated by grandmothers were filled with many miracles. In these stories, due to a particular person saying something or showing a certain kind of attitude, there used to be some extraordinary events which were usually in our those days  to give any kind of real reason or method was not possible for us. That's why it seemed like a miracle.

Most of the stories were based on some religious event and the characters associated with it. In these stories the boon or curse given by great powers played a major role. After a time, with the arrival of external civilizations, some more special types of stories were also associated with them, which have gone to the delusional stories. Where the miraculous stories related to religion were related to some social system, the magical stories were often made on fictional events only for entertainment. These stories were often related to the civilizations that came from outside in India. In this time, these stories, wherever they came from, were just a simple and healthy way of entertainment for us. All the stories were read or listened to with interest and a little surprise and were taken to mind without any commentary.

Through these stories, it was learned that many sages and yogis in ancient India had acquired many supernatural powers on the strength of their penance and disciplined yoga practice. On the basis of these powers, this sage could do such extraordinary things that the common man might have found miracles.

One such magical story which has been very famous in our country and on which films were also made is Alibaba and 40 Thieves. In this story Alibaba and 40 of his accomplices who are thieves and dacoits loot or steal valuables from place to place and lock them in a cave whose door . Only Sardar could open by saying 'khul ja sim sim' in his voice.

The elusive war is often described in religious stories. In this type of war, instead of fighting with the army in front of the enemy, such a war was done in which the enemy was harmed from different directions without coming in front, even from the safe environment, in such a way that the enemy becomes confused and furious and his fighting ability gets weakened. In the time of Krishna incarnation, lifting the Govardhan mountain on his finger and using it as a big roof to protect the residents from the wrath of Indra is a well-known story known to almost all Indians. Many examples are found not only in our culture but around the world.

With my age, I gradually understood all these miracles that I had heard in my childhood that these were some difficult and extraordinary things which the common man could neither do nor understand well. Some expert people with great powers completed these tasks, which with the passage of time were given the definition of miracle to convince the common man. With my rationalist understanding, I have gradually almost given up believing that miracles ever used to happen or do happen even today. Behind every such situation there are some principles from which we can explain it logically.

Today with the expansion of science and technology, we can open or close any system with different types of used code words. Today, the number of such people in the world has increased from 40 to many, who use this type of password to keep countless money in their secret vault which they have stolen from their country. Similarly, fighting the enemy sitting at home using terrorism and economics is a common policy today. Such elusive crime or war policies have become even more dangerous and effective with the widespread expansion of digital technology.

With the passage of time, with my life experiences and my engineering thinking, I had completely forgotten the word miracle. But a recent incident like this in our country made me rethink this thinking I had acquired over the years. In the context of this incident in today's circumstances, I have no other way than to believe that miracles still happen today.

This incident is the latest incident related to a big stock exchange of our country, in which some people sitting in the highest positions of this institution are doing business of billions of rupees following the orders of a yogi who was told to be located somewhere in the Himalayas. Keep running this organization. This method  continued with success for many years or maybe even for a few decades, despite the fact that there were many institutions working prominently in the country to see, understand and regulate them legally. Perhaps like a common Indian, all the people in all these institutions also believed in miracles and keep them. Even after the incident came to light, till date no investigative institution has been able to trace the Yogi who successfully operated this stock exchange for many years by his invisible powers. A lot of information may have been kept secret. But today, at least for now, about 140 million Indians, and moreover, the entire world public community, have to accept that wherever science has spread, miracles do happen and probably will continue to happen.

This incident has created a conflict in me which has become a perplexing challenge perhaps even to my rational thinking. Sometimes I get into the thought of many other people like me that whether some big system is trying to divert the attention of all of us in the name of this miraculous yogi. Is there really such a thing or is it just a fictional character creation? It is almost impossible to believe that a country like India, which occupies a very important place in information technology, has not even been able to find its date on the basis of the email sent by this yogi, person two is still far away. In all these situations, due to the absence of any rational half-incomplete answer, many doubtful thoughts are almost certain to arise in everyone's heart. All these conditions can create conditions of uncertainty and compulsion inside the society which is not right for the system and progress of the country.

I would like to mention one more thing here that getting the address of Yogi and personal information about him does not matter much because it will probably be impossible to find him guilty of doing something wrong or prove him guilty in any way. Such situations are also often found in corporate systems where the highest-ranking executives give their junior just an advisory in layman's parlance to give some benefit to someone that that junior does at his own risk. In case of any wrong result, only that junior becomes a participant in the punishment because the executive had given only a suggestion, that too, not a written order by mouth.

Therefore, it would be fair to say once again that miracles happen even today through powers.
